Bourne, James, Jr. - Putnam

Last night’s Indianapolis News prints the letter left by James Bourne, Jr., the Coatesville suicide for his sweetheart, Annie Aubrey.

The letter is as follows:

Dear Sweetheart:

I do this because I have to. I have lost all my money.  I am crazy. I don’t know what I am doing. I am going to hell down the hill at a merry gait. So good bye for once and all.  Your little Jim

The funeral services over young Bourne’s remains will be held in Mill Creek Church at 3 o’clock this afternoon.
